Follow MailOnline’s live coverage after bombshell US court documents detailing the connections of the late paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein were released.
Jeffrey Epstein had explosive information that could have ‘derailed’ the 2016 election, his brother claimsJeffrey Epstein’s brother Mark said the financier claimed to have information about Donald Trump and Bill Clinton which was so explosive it would derail the 2016 presidential election.
Mark Epstein, a New York-based property developer younger than Jeffrey by 18 months, said his brother never provided details.
Mark, 69, said: ‘Here’s a direct quote: “If I said what I know about both candidates, they’d have to cancel the election.” That’s what Jeffrey told me in 2016.’
Hillary Clinton, the Democratic candidate in the 2016 race, was not known to spend time with Jeffrey Epstein, but her husband was a friend from at least 1993.
The pedophile financier made at least 17 visits to the White House, presidential logs show, and Bill Clinton also flew on Epstein’s private jet – making trips to Europe, Asia and Africa in 2002 and 2003.
Six key revelations in unsealed documentsMany of you will be waking up to the news that documents linking the associates of Jeffrey Epstein have been released.

An email from Epstein to Maxwell on January 12, 2015, shows the paedophile asking his former girlfriend to try and find any of Virginia Giuffre’s friends or family who will help prove her allegations were untrue.
Epstein wrote: ‘You can issue a reward to any of Virginia’s friends, acquaints, family that come forward and help prove her allegations are false.’
‘The strongest is the Clinton dinner, and the new version in the Virgin Islands that Stephen Hawking participated in an underage orgy.’
Professor Hawking visited Epstein’s infamous island in 2006 during conference.
It is unclear why he was on the island – or why Epstein wanted to disprove the orgy allegation, although the twisted financier was known to invite famous figures he admitted to enjoy his hospitality.
Hawking, who died in 2018 aged 76, is pictured attending a barbecue and taking a submarine tour of the sea bed off the island, reported The Telegraph.
The conference was reportedly funded by Epstein on the neighboring island of St. Thomas.

Bill Clinton ‘likes them young’, documents claimThe bombshell new Epstein documents claim that the former US president ‘likes them young’, according to Johanna Sjoberg.
Ms Sjoberg has said she was recruited on a college campus at the age of 20 to work as a massage therapist without any training by Ghislaine Maxwell.
She said she was forced to perform sex acts on Epstein.
Ms Sjoberg said that Epstein told her ‘Clinton likes them young, referring to girls.’
Clinton has long sought to play down his association with Epstein, but admitted traveling on his private plane.
On Wednesday, a spokesperson for Clinton told CNN that he knew nothing of Epstein’s ‘terrible crimes’ during their friendship, adding that it has ‘been nearly 20 years since Clinton last had contact with Epstein.’

What do the documents say about Prince Andrew?Epstein accuser Johanna Sjoberg said Prince Andrew put his hand on her breast to pose for a photo with the financier, Virginia Giuffre and Ghislaine Maxwell.
In depositions, she has described how in March 2001, when she was 21, she was summoned to Epstein’s New York mansion where she found that ‘Prince Andrew was there and a couple of other girls my age’, including Giuffre.
‘Andrew was very charming,’ Ms Sjoberg said. ‘She (Maxwell) came down with a present for him – a latex puppet of him from Spitting Image.’
Ms Sjoberg added that Andrew had thought the puppet was ‘funny because it was him’.
She said in a deposition: ‘I just remember someone suggesting a photo and they told us to get on the couch. And so Virginia (Roberts) and Andrew sat on the couch and they put the puppet on her lap.
‘And so I sat on Andrew’s lap, I believe of my own volition, and they took the puppet’s hands and put it on Virginia’s breast and so Andrew put his on mine.’
It was all done in ‘a joking manner’ and ‘everybody laughed,’ Ms Sjoberg said. ‘Ghislaine… had a very dirty sense of humour’.
Buckingham Palace has previously denied the allegations.
Andrew has been stripped of most of his royal titles due to his association with Epstein.
Why have the documents been released? The list of names is part of a settled lawsuit filed by Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre against sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.
The case was settled in 2017, but Giuffre – and many others – have long called for the names to become public.
Giuffre is one of the dozens of women who sued Epstein saying he had abused them at his homes in Florida, New York, the U.S. Virgin Islands and New Mexico.
She said the summer she turned 17, she was lured away from a job as a spa attendant at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club to become a ‘masseuse’ for Epstein – a job that involved performing sexual acts.
U.S. District Judge Loretta A. Preska, who evaluated the documents to decide what should be unsealed, said in her December order that she was ordering the records released because much of the information within them is already public.
Good morningPrince Andrew and former US president Bill Clinton are among the high-profile figures who have been named in newly released US court documents identifying associates of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein which were made public last night.
